3 spaces left - Stamp Club starts November, free classes, product, lots of fun

Happy hump day!  Wednesday already....where has my week gone?  Wanted to let you all know that Stamp Club will be starting again in for the start of November, just a few weeks away.  There are already 3 people ready to go, so just needing 3 more to make our club complete.   Stamp Club covers a 6 month period where you committ to spend $50 per month, and each person will be the hostess for one order during that period, entitling you to minimum hostess spending of $50 accross the entire Idea Book and Catalogue.  It's a great way to slowly build up your supplies, enjoy a monthly WOW class and a mini stamp a stack class - for FREE - as well as flat rate postage costs of just $3.  I have added some more details below as to the whats and hows of Stamp Club.  For those of you that don't live locally, you can still participate and your Club rewards can be negotiated on an individual basis.    So with just 3 spaces left, get in touch now by emailing me today to secure your place.  Talk soon, Joc x

· Don’t want to go to/ have your own workshop, clean the house or prepare food and drinks?
· Want to escape for “me time” once a month and make some great lasting friendships?

You will just love joining my Stamp Club! Here’s why & benefits for you.

· A Stamp Club consists of 6 participants, where each person commits to purchasing $50 of current Stampin’ Up! Product per month for 6 consecutive months.

· Each club member is the “Hostess” and receives free Hostess Shopping Dollars and “Hostess Only” Stamp Sets once during the 6 months - without having to place one large order to receive the hostess benefits. You can pace a larger order on your hostess month or collect orders from friends to ‘bump up’ your Hostess Benefits to the next Level (refer to the IB&C for details, p. 9).

· That means you will receive the minimum FREE rewards - $50 worth of free Stampin’ Up! current catalogue product.

· The first hostess will be person who has joined first. The order of subsequent hostesses will be drawn at random, are not interchangeable and announced at the start of the Stamp Club to all members via email.

· You may like to get a group of 6 together and form your own Circle of Friends Stamp Club. Let me know when you are ready to start!

· You must commit to purchasing at least $50 per month for 6 consecutive months. The Club places an order of at least $300 to ensure the minimum hostess achievement level).
· Payment and order must be received by 4pm on the 15th of each month (earlier orders are welcome and can be stored) so that a timely order can be placed for all members. Failure to do so results in all Stamp Club Member’s orders being delayed, which is not in the spirit of the club and unfair to fellow members.
· Pay via cash /Credit Card payment( preferred) confidential storage of details.
· Hostess will be emailed monthly total and has 24 hours to advise of free $ spend.
· Orders usually take 5-7 working days for delivery. Orders are sent direct to the demonstrator and delivered to each member promptly.

Stampin for a cause Cairns, 22nd October 10-2pm

STAMPIN FOR A CAUSE Saturday 22 October

Shannean is holding a Stamp for a Cause this Saturday at White Rock State School.

The event is fundraising for Sharon Cohr’s charity Climbing for a Cause which raises much needed money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (for breast cancer research, treatments and cures). Sharon was the first breast cancer survivor to summit Mt Everest in May this year and is an amazingly inspirational person. Shannean's fundraiser aims to raise awareness of her incredible journey, her ongoing charitable activities and raise extra funds to ensure a timely discovery of treatment and cure for breast cancer.
The girls will be creating 3 gorgeous cards and 1 3D item.  There will also be loads of great prizes, raffles, auctions and lucky door prizes up for grabs.    So if you have nothing happening this weekend, why not come along and support such a worthwhile cause and assist Sharon in her mission to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Shannean and her crew will be preparing 3 cards and a 3D project for us to create. The $30 fee includes all materials for the projects, light lunch, juice, tea and coffee. There will be raffles and auctions of SU! products so bring some extra cash - all money raised is being donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.   Please call Shannean directly on 0409 735 447 to register as spaces are limited.    Joc x

Teenage card to share - Extreme Elements

Here's a card that we made at Friday night's class.  It was great catching up with the girls who requested some ideas for male themed cards.  I love being able to plan classes based around suggestions and requests, and had lots of fun using the Extreme Elements stamp set to create this card.  I thought it could be used for a teenager, what do you think?

Colours used for the background stamping were - Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo, Old Olive, Night of Navy and Crumb Cake.
Lattice Embossing folder on the Basic Black card CS, daubered around the edges in Night of Navy and Basic Black.
I really like the Silver Mini Brads for a little detail, they are such a great size, without being "too much"

Here's a close up of Guitar Man - shadowed in Night of Navy then embossed in black.

Shall be back soon with another card for the boys, have a great week everyone, Joc x

*** "BYO Crop - Me Time"  Thurs 20th October 9.30-12.30.

Strength and Hope BCRF Update

Hi all, remember a little while back in the last mini the Strength and Hope Stamp Set?  It was the one with the lovely big butterfly and with every purchase $2 went towards the Breast
Cancer Research Foundation.  Well, the tally has been done, have a read below to see just how much was raised to go straight the foundation from SU from demonstrators and customers globally.

The Strength & Hope Campaign, benefiting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF), came to an end on 31 July. We thank you and your customers for your amazing support of this global philanthropic campaign. Each of you did your part to make a difference, and by doing so, we raised $60,000 USD, which will go toward helping BCRF "achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime" (BCRF Mission Statement).
Again, thank you for living Stampin' Up!'s Statement of the Heart and doing your part to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

My personal challenge has been set.....

Wanting to own your copy of the 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalogue (RRP $12.95)Interested in earning free Stampin' Up! products?
Like to get catch up with friends and make some cute projects tailored to you?
Love to learn some new crafting techniques?

Hosting a Stampin' Up! workshop with me is the opportunity to do all of the above.  Get together a group of friends and I can either come to you or you can come to my crafting studio to have your workshop for a few hours of paper crafting "me" time.  Workshops really are a great way to take some time out of our busy lives and enjoy making a handmade project or two.  Alternatively why not have a catalogue party where you share the Idea Book and Catalogue with your friends and family, collect orders and earn qualifying hostess dollars to spend across the entire catalogue.

Host a workshop with me between now and the end of November and all hostesses and guests will pay no postage costs with any order over $60.   Hostesses who hold their party on the original booked date and have a party with orders totalling over $300 will receive a free Classic Ink Pad (RRP $11.95) of their choice.  This is on top of $50 hostess dollars to spend of your choice!!!

Stampin' Up!  have set a Worldwide Week of Workshops challenge to demonstrators across the globe to host a workshop between 15 Oct- 30 Nov, and I am hoping to participate in this.  I have set myself a personal goal to have four workshops.  I hope that you will agree that this really is a great time to have your own workshop or catalogue party, look forward to talking with you soon.  CONTACT ME TODAY to confirm your date.  Joc x

Magnetic note pads with instructions

Hi girls, On Friday night I went along to a BYO paper crafting night hosted by two wonderful Perth Mums who are on a quest to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research.  They are hoping to raise over $7000 so they can then visit China and walk the Great Wall.   Both are just gorgeous girls and if you are interested in learning more about their journey head on over to Sandy and Rayls - Two Mums, A Wall and A Mission Good luck girls, looking forward to coming along to more of your events x

I headed on out to Byford in the Perth Hills armed with my Big Shot, stamps, papers and inks to create some cute little note pads for Christmas gifts.  Hope you like what I came up with!  I have added some instructions below the pics so you can create your own, the instructions are for the larger one on the right.  I'm still on the hunt for some miniature pens to place under the notepad.  Love the colour combo of white, razzleberry, olive and orchid.  Picked up the pads at a discount shop $2.50 for a pack of four.

Instructions for making your own note pads

  • Cut a piece of thin card (I used the card that comes with the DSP paper) 9cm x 21.5cm
  • Cut a Piece of DSP paper 12cm x 24 cm and cover the card
  • Cut a sheet of card stock 8cm x 7.5cm and a sheet of DSP 7.5 x 6.75cm
  • Lay the DSP on top of the card stock, adhere and then embellish to your taste.               Eg ribbon, flowers, brads, edge punches, Big Shot dies.  Score centre of the cardstock.
  • Adhere notepad to the very top of card that is covered in DSP
  • Add the top cover you made and adhere to notepad and back of DSP covered card
  • Cut a piece of coloured card stock that matches DSP 8.5 x 20.5 cm, stick to back of pad
  • Add magnetic strip to top and bottom and your project is complete.

My tip would be to choose your DSP first and then select card stock and embellishments to match.  That's whats so great about Stampin' Up! - everything matches making it so easy.
Happy creating everyone, Joc x
